How to acquaint my German Shepherd Stella to "Pedi-paws" nail trimmer

I have tried to gently introduce Stella to the Pedi-Paws but the slight noise it makes scares her,

Should I keep approaching her daily? Or just use the old-fashioned nail cutters. She is 19 months old. We have only had her for two weeks and she has not had a lot of socializing so we don't want her to be fearful of us.
