Axl is my 1st German Shepherd Dog

Hi,

I have a working line GSD named Axl. Axl is almost 5 years old. This is my first GSD and I am blown away how intelligent and loyal Axl is.

We've gone through 6 obedience classes and he has excelled at all of them. He is my best bud and my shadow.

One trait that I absolutely adore about GSDs is how chatty they are. Axl whines, grunts, woofs, screams, barks, groans. He's always got something to say, and it constantly makes me laugh.

Congratulations on Axl and especially on following through with so much training with him. I wish more owners would do their German Shepherd training classes too because many don't realize that they have a furry Einstein on the end of that leash!

Your boy looks to be quite the character too. I love all the pictures that you've sent in - especially showcasing him those various growing phases in his life. He is indeed one handsome GSD!

I totally agree with you about the vocal nature of German Shepherds too - I love when my GSDs talk to me too. I wish you continued success with Axl and keep the German Shepherd pictures coming in. We all love to see them.
